With college basketball season starting next week and Siena set to play at Duke and at Wisconsin, we brought in of the all-time great Saints in former point guard Tay Fisher.

Fisher was part of the 2008 team that upset Vanderbilt in the NCAA tournament and is a current member of the Harlem Globetrotters.

I asked Fisher about his excitement at seeing Duke and Wisconsin on the schedule for Siena this year. I also asked him about how important it was for the Saints to re-up the lease for the Times Union Center, which they did last week.

Siena will play at the TUC through 2020.

I also asked Fisher his thoughts on UAlbany's emergence on the Capital Region basketball scene and about his transition to the Globetrotters.

Has he always played with so much style, or was it something he had to teach himself? Finally, I asked him the differences between the Globetrotters and things like the And-1 Mix Tour.

The Globetrotters will play at the Times Union Center on Sunday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m.
