We know most of you are Yankees fans, and are therefore disappointed with the loss last night to the Astros.

However, you can at least take solace in knowing that the Astros team that beat the Yankees had several prominent players that got their start right here for the Tri-City ValleyCats.

Dallas Keuchel, who got the start for the 'Stros, is a former ValleyCat. He went six innings and allowed no runs. He also had seven strikeouts and kept the Yankees off-balance every at-bat with an array of breaking balls.

Jose Altuve. He's also a former 'Cat. He brought in the Astros third run with an RBI single. He also stole a base. He's the 2014 American League batting champion and has solidified himself as one of the top players in the American League.

George Springer wasn't in Tri-City very long during the 2011 season (just eight games), but he made his presence felt on Tuesday, running down an Alex Rodriguez shot to right field.

And finally, catcher Jason Castro is also a former 'Cat. He was a huge part of the game, working with Keuchel and framing several pitchers to get calls.
