As a rookie late in the ’98 season, Spencer joined the Yankees’ major league club and caught absolute fire, blasting 10 home runs and driving in 27 RBI in 27 days. Spencer carried that momentum into the postseason, hitting 2 big ALDS homers to propel the Yankees past Texas and eventually to another World Series title. Today, Shane joined Game On with Bruce Jacobs to talk about his career, the Yankees, and who he likes to win it all this year.

Check out the interview below, and if you want to meet Shane, he’ll be at Wolfs 111 tonight, September 28th, from 7-10pm.
