Freshman Nico Clareth scored 24 points, 20 of which came in the first half, as the Siena men's basketball team closed out the regular season on Sunday with an 80-65 win over Quinnipiac at the Times Union Center.

The Saints finish the regular season at 20-11 with a 13-7 record in the MAAC. The win solidified the three-seed for the Saints in the upcoming MAAC Tournament. They'll play on Saturday night at 7:00 against the winner of the No. 6 and No. 11 matchup, which is Thursday night.

In addition to the 24 points from Clareth, Siena got eight points and a whopping 18 rebounds from Brett Bisping. Siena also got 14 points from Marquis Wright as he works himself back into the rotation from a foot injury suffered in December.

Troy High grad Javion Ogunyemi also chipped in, scoring 17 points and pulling down six rebounds.

The Saints will need to win three games in three days to take the MAAC championship. Siena hasn't gotten a tournament bid since 2009-10.
