Georgia Running Back Todd Gurley was drafted by the St.Louis Rams. Gurley is still healing that ACL injury, and is set to be ready for training camp.

Gurley is one of the most intriguing prospects in the draft. In 2012 Gurley rushed for 1,385 yards and 17 touchdowns. Gurley missed three games with an ankle injury in 2013, but still rushed for over 900 yards and 10 touchdowns. In 2014, Gurley was on his way to a Heisman trophy before he was suspended for taking improper benefits. After his suspension, he tore his ACL in his first game back.

Despite his injury history, Gurley is regarded as the top RB prospect in this year’s draft. His raw speed, agility and vision are NFL-caliber. His NFL comparison is Marshawn Lynch.

The 2015 NFL Draft this year was held in Chicago, Illinois. It's the first time that the event was not at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The new environment brought the majority of the first round draft picks, but not the top two, Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston.
