The NFL opponents for 2016 came out yesterday, so as you Giant fans are mourning the departure of Tom Coughlin and thinking about next year, you can start to pencil in the wins and losses already.

BREAKING IT DOWN: Obviously, the Giants will play the Cowboys, Eagles and Redskins both at home and on the road. At home, the Giants will also see the Bears, Lions, Saints, Ravens and Bengals. That's a fair schedule, filled with teams that could go either way. The Bears should regress in 2016 after probably losing OC Adam Gase, RB Matt Forte, and maybe WR Alshon Jefferey. The Lions should be better after finishing this season on a nice streak. The Ravens will definitely be better after getting Joe Flacco, Justin Forsett and Steve Smith back from injury. We know the Bengals are good, so might as well get them at home.

On the road? The Giants are going to London, but at least they get the Rams there. They also travel to Green Bay and Minnesota, which is tough considering both are playoff teams. Then the Steelers are a tough matchup and the Browns are a sight everyone likes to see.

Bottom line: Coughlin's replacement will have some work to do to navigate this schedule.
