Giants Eli Manning Has Stomach Bug, Leaves Practice Early

Yesterday the Giants leader had to leave practice early because of an illness.  According to the Giants Eli is suffering from a stomach bug.

A stomach bug has been going around and Giants QB Eli Manning is the latest victim.  They are hoping it's just a 24 hour thing, but it was bad enough that he had to leave practice early yesterday.  Will it effect him come game day against San Francisco?  They don't think so.

They had backup QB David Carr take snaps at practice, just as a precaution.  Giants fans hope that Eli gets over the sickness though because you don't want David Carr playing with the Super Bowl on the line.  Eli stayed at the practice facility to do watch film, despite not being able to be on the field.
