1. Missed Opportunities- Coach Coughlin said it best, "There's all kinds of things that could have happened. They didn't." Part of the frustration stemmed from his team coming away with at least two takeaways in five straight games. The inability to fully capitalize on those takeaways were a factor behind the ultimate loss.

2. Where Did The Offense Go?- Eli Manning set a career high with 251 passing yards in the first half but that accolade quickly faded as the Giants could only muster 9 points in the second half.

3. The Play That Wasn't- Odell Beckham Jr. admitted to reporters that he put the loss on himself after officials determined his touchdown catch late in the fourth quarter was incomplete. Beckham thought he had the catch with his feet down until the ball was knocked out. He ended saying, "You can't leave it up to the refs to make any kind of call."

4. The Game In His Hands- Sticking with the theme of missed opportunities, Giants rookie safety Landon Collins had the game winning interception in hand but could not complete the process of the catch. Coach Coughlin was brutally honest in his press conference about what could have been saying, "The plays there, you gotta make the play." He continued saying, "Catch the ball and the games over. Im sending the victory team out. It's just a shame. I don't know how to explain it."

5. A Loss That Wounds The Heart- This loss will sit with Big Blue for a while as their long awaited bye week has finally arrived. Coach Coughlin stressed how disappointing it was to lose in such a close game after all the work the coaching staff and the players had put in. The collective sense around the locker room is that the team is ready for some much needed rest and putting this loss behind them.
