The New York Giants have had an eventful free agency over the last week, solidifying depth at many of their needs.

Now, Big Blue needs a center. Newly signed JD Walton is an option but he has not played since 2012 because of an injury. The only other candidate currently on the roster is Dallas Reynolds who finished last year at the position for the Giants because of injuries.

Here's some of the available options:

Jim Cordle - Cut by the Giants a few weeks ago, New York could renegotiate and bring the versatile interior lineman back for depth.

Jonathan Goodwin - Has started every game for the 49ers and Saints the last six years but with the mission of getting substantially younger on the line, the 35-year old Goodwin does not fit the mold of what the Giants are looking for.

Brian de la Puente - Started for the Saints the last three years. My favorite choice. Would take some major work to fit his contract into the Giants budget.

Kyle Cook - The 30-year old was the starting center in Cincinnati last year and was cut for cap reasons.

Samson Satele - After starting 98 of 102 games throughout his career, the 29-year old didn't look great last year in Indianapolis and they released him entering the third year of his three year deal.

Ryan Wendell - The former Patriot was linked to the Giants last week but that was before the Walton signing. No other rumbles since.

Alex Mack- The top offensive line free agent on the market but the money he wants will beyond what the Giants have left beneath the cap.
