The New York Giants search for a new head coach is officially over,  Ben McAdoo is set to take over for the Giants per NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, per a source.

McAdoo (38) came to the Giants two seasons ago, after being the quarterbacks coach for the Green Bay Packers.  McAdoo has earned praise for his work with quarterback Eli Manning, who has thrown 65 touchdowns and 28 interceptions while completing 62.8 percent of his passes in the past two seasons.

It was known that McAdoo was the lead candidate for the Eagles. With Hue Jackson out of the race the Giants made quick decision to make him the 17th coach of the New York Giants. Other head coaches in the race included Mike Smith and Doug Marrone.
