Two days straight at camp in Albany the Super Bowl Champion NY Giants have lost a DB, this time it is Safety Tyler Sash who was suspended by the NFL for failng a drug test and testing positive for the PED Adderall.

Monday the Giants lost cornerback Terrell Thomas, who for the 3rd time will have surgery on his right ACL and might miss the season again.

Sash who was administered a drug test back in March claims he took the PED to aid him speaking in public. Adderall is used to combat an anxiety disorder. Sash claims it was prescribed by a doctor.

Sash has not said if he will appeal the suspension. Giants Running back Andre Brown also failed a test for the same drug but after his appeal the suspension was dropped.

Sash took to his twitter account to explain his side of the story saying " I took a prescription drug legally under a doctors care for an anxiety condition during the offseason in March of this year. The purpose was to help me with public speaking appearances. I had no idea that this prescription drug was banned by NFL policy".

A seemingly remorseful Sash added " Although I take full responsibility for this situation, I also want to state that I have never cheated or taken performace enhancing drugs, and I frown on those that do. I am highly disappointed by the league's decision in this matter but I will continue to do my best both on and off the field".

Rumors right now have the Giants possibly going after a familiar face in Deon Grant, who right now is unemployed after the Giants decided to not to resign him after last season. Last season in limited playing time Sash had 17 tackles.
