The Giants will likely be without rookie left tackle Ereck Flowers on Thursday night against the Redskins and New York has been preparing all this week as if that would be the case.

"Until he gets cleared, we’re preparing the same way that we finished the game on Sunday," said Giants offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz, with 'Armen and Levack'. "Now that [Justin Pugh] had a week of practice, it shouldn’t be a big deal."

Midway through last Sunday's game against the Falcons, Flowers went down with an ankle injury and Pugh shifted to left tackle and backup John Jerry filled in at left guard.

"I think we’ll be OK. Pugh is a great athlete. He’s played tackle in college and he played at tackle all this week. It’s a very hard jump to go from left guard to left tackle in the middle of a game, especially when Atlanta has some great defensive ends that they put up the field and rush."

The Redskins have a creative and physical front seven and will be ready to go up against the Giants on Thursday Night Football.
