After a tough 2013, everyone knows that the New York Giants have needs.  Today, though, they have one less.

Big Blue has agreed to a deal with free agent line backer Jon Beason, who joined the team mid-season last year and helped stabilize a struggling defense - helping the unit become the lesser of two NYG evils.

Beason's return was always a top priority for GM Jerry Reese - the veteran will be expected to quarterback the defense from the middle linebacker position in 2014.  The terms of the deal are not yet known; several teams were said to be vying for the LB's services, but it has been reported that Beason's desire was to return to New York.
