Brown was given a 4 game suspension over the offseason, shortly after becoming a fan favorite for his “I’ve Got A Ring” viral anthem. According to reports Brown tested positive for Adderall, which the NFL considers to be a banned substance, however the league overruled the suspension since Andre Brown has apparently been diagnosed with ADHD. Brown released a quote via twitter saying “Suspension lifted !!!!!!!! Thank God.” Brown is expected to compete with D.J. Ware and 1st round pick David Wilson for the 2nd running back position behind Amhad Bradshaw.

In other Giants news, tight end Martellus Bennett weighed in today at 291 pounds, 26 pounds over his normal playing weight. Bennett signed a one year deal with the club in the off-season after spending his entire career with the Cowboys.
