New York Giants vice president Pat Hanlon of communications made the welcomed announcement yesterday that the Super Bowl champions would be returning to the UAlbany campus this summer for training camp.  The G-Men have been training at UAlbany for 15 years, the only time they missed it was last season due to the lockout.

Who can fans of the G-Men in the Albany area thank for this?  Senator Chuck Schumer of course.  He is a life long Giants fan, and has been pushing for the team to return to the States Capital Region instead of holding camp in New Jersey again.
