Goz’s Weekly College Basketball Poll (12/27)

This season I’ll be providing my own personal Top 25 poll each week during the college basketball season. My poll philosophy is ranking the teams I believe are the best twenty five best in the country following that given week’s games. These rankings tip off this week and will run until January, when then we shift our projections to "mock brackets". The complete poll is listed below. Louisville Takes Down Kentucky- A fun filled game in the Blue Grass State last week. Coach Rick Pitino's team got the best of Coach John Calipari's team and that's why the Cardinals get bumped into the Top 5. The Wildcats don't fall too far as they move to number eight.

Thank Goodness For Grayson Allen?- If Grayson Allen did not trip an Elon Phoenix it would have been a very boring week in college basketball. Only one other top twenty team lost this week (South Carolina who fell out of our rankings after their loss to Clemson). Allen is suspended indefinitely from the Blue Devils.
