Sports fans were disappointed last week when bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes pulled out of the main event just hours before the main event at UFC 213. Later this month, UFC 214 will feature a rematch between two of the best and most controversial fighters in the entire company. After serving a year long suspension Jon “Bones” Jones will step inside the octagon to take on Daniel “DC” Cormier. The two were originally scheduled to fight for the lightheavyweight championship last July at UFC 200 but Jones tested positive for a banned substance. After serving a year long suspension, Jones will back his return to the octagon on July 29th. Jones is a native of Upstate New York. Jones along with his brothers Art and Chandler were students at Union-Endicott High School in Endicott, New York. Both Art and Chandler played college football at Syracuse University before playing in the NFL and eventually both becoming Super Bowl champions. The below trailer spotlights Jones’ checkered past along with the heated rivalry between the two fighters. Is this the greatest UFC promotional video of all time? Are you excited for Jones-Cormier 2?
