PHOENIX (AP) — Matt Harvey stopped his three-game losing streak, John Mayberry Jr. had a two-run homer among his career-high four hits, and the New York Mets picked up a rare road win by beating the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-2 Thursday night.

Harvey (6-3) was sharp in his return to Chase Field, where he made his major league debut three years ago. He struck out nine in seven strong innings for his first win in six starts.

Though the right-hander gave up solo homers to Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Paul Goldschmidt, he had the rest of the Diamondbacks swinging through pitches, striking out at least nine for the fifth time this season.

Kevin Plawecki hit a two-run double off Dominic Leone (0-1), and the Mets banged out 14 hits to win for the second time in 11 road games. Jeurys Familia got five outs for his 16th save.
