Kevin Harvick had already been eliminated from championship contention but that didn't stop him from winning the AdvoCare 500 at the Phoenix International Raceway on Sunday. The race was dominated by Kyle Busch but Harvick was able to sneak by him on the restart of the final laps of a green-white-checkered finish. Denny Hamlin would end up in second place followed by Busch, Kasey Kahne and Ryan Newman.

The race also saw Jimmie Johnson lose his championship points lead thanks to a blown right front tire that caused him to smack the wall on lap 234. He would end up finishing 32nd. Brad Keselowski would finish sixth and reclaim the points lead. He now leads Johnson by 20 points. All other drivers are now out of contention.

There was also big fireworks during the last few laps as Jeff Gordon would wreck Clint Bowyer in retaliation for Bowyer cutting Gordon's tire earlier in the race. Both Bowyer's and Gordon's pit crew's would end up in a hockey style brawl in the pits. The green-white checkered finish would also end with a number of wrecked cars as Kevin Harvick crossed the finish line. Danica Patrick, Mark Martin, Ryan Newman, Kurt Busch and others were the cars involved.

It all comes down to a two car race for the championship between Keselowski and Johnson. A champion will be crowned next week at Homestead Miami Speedway next Sunday at the  Ford EcoBoost 400. ESPN will have the TV coverage starting at 2pm.
