Minnesota Football Head Coach On Sidelines Despite Seizures
Minnesota Golden Gophers head football coach Jerry Kill is on the sidelines this afternoon despite suffering several seizures recently.
Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill is on the sidelines this afternoon as his Golden Gophers battle No. 19 Michigan. Kill was hospitalized twice last month because of seizures.
The first-year Golden Gophers coach checked himself into a Mayo Clinic earlier this week after suffering seizures during and after the Gophers' 37-24 loss to North Dakota State. He also had a seizure on Sept. 10 during Minnesota's 28-21 loss to New Mexico State.
Kill says his condition is not life-threatening. He hasn't missed a game because of the seizures. Kill also suffered seizures three times while coaching at Southern Illinois.
