With pitchers and catchers reporting this week at the Major League level and us interviewing prospects from the Capital Region each day this week, it's only right that we start to focus on the June Major League Draft.

The Capital Region has had a kid drafted in the first round each of the last two seasons in Jeff Hoffman (Shaker, No. 9 overall, 2014) and Garrett Whitley (Niskayuna, No. 13 overall, 2015). This year? Ian Anderson of Shen figures to be a high draft choice this year as well.

To answer the questions on Anderson, we brought in Hudson Belinsky of Baseball America. Is there a chance that Anderson actually honors his commitment to Vanderbilt? How high up can he go in the draft?

Belinsky also compared Anderson to Hoffman. What are the similarities? Hoffman was drafted out of college (ECU) and not out of high school.
