The UAlbany men's basketball team closed out 2015 on a high note on Tuesday night, beating St. Francis (Brooklyn) on the road by a score of 71-66.

With the win, UAlbany moves to 10-4 after starting out the year just 2-3.

Peter Hooley scored 19 points in the win for UAlbany. He was 6-8 from the field. That's a great performance for Hooley, who has shot 36 percent from the floor this year. Hooley also hit a three-pointer. Maybe that can get him going from deep, where he's shooting just 14 percent.

Scotia graduate Joe Cremo also had 15 points to pace the Danes. He was named the Rookie of the Week in the America East on Monday after scoring a career-high 25 last Wednesday.

Cremo also had six rebounds and three assists. Albany native Greig Stire had 12 points and Evan Singletary also had 12.

The Danes hit 6-10 from three in the game. They will be back in action on Jan. 2 at Cornell in Ithaca.
