Statement from OKC on Kevin Durant leaving:

“Kevin's contributions to our organization during his nine years were profound, on and off the court," Thunder Chairman Clayton I. Bennett said. "He helped the Thunder grow and succeed in immeasurable ways and impacted the community just the same. We thank him for his leadership, his play, and how he represented Oklahoma City and the entire state of Oklahoma.”

That statement from Thunder Chairman Clayton I. Bennett is pure class.

Why did Kevin leave? Well according to Stephen Smith from ESPN "He has now moved to a city where you can get sushi delivered at 4 AM you couldn't do that in OKC"

Good Point but thats not all. Kevin wants a ring all his years in the NBA that is one thing he has not accomplished. In his quest for the ring Golden State was his best bet. Of course to do that the Warriors would have to make the NBA finals again but considering the talent on that team it's likely to happen. Of course the downside is that the league just got less competitive. Can they go to the finals again? We shall see.
