Despite finishing the Open Championship at -17, Phil Mickelson finished second to Henrik Stenson, who won the Claret Jug at -20 overall. It was an amazing 72 holes of golf and despite finishing second for the 11th time in his career, Mickelson played amazing at the age of 46.

He was vying to become the oldest player to win a major since Jack Nicklaus. It was the first major win for Stenson in his career.
