Yesterday we reported that Shen basketball star Kevin Huerter was playing with NBA superstars at the Nike Basketball Academy in Southern California. He had played with DeMarcus Cousins, Trey Burke, and Paul George.

Well today, we can add LeBron James and Anthony Davis to that list. Huerter's father tweets that Kevin played on the same floor as two of the best players in the game.

The Huerter's also joined former Shen star Greg Koubek for lunch. Koubek was the leader of the last Shen team to win a state title (before this year's team). He attended Duke University and is the first player in NCAA history to play in four Final Fours.

After leading Shen to the New York State Class AA title in March, Huerter has gained a lot of attention on the national stage. He has more than 20 scholarship offers from Division 1 schools. Offers include Syracuse (For 2017), Baylor, Iowa, Texas Tech, Baylor, Siena, UAlbany, Maryland, Miami, Marquette, Penn State and more.

A lengthy guard, Huerter can defend the perimeter, shoot it from the outside, and has great court vision. At 6’5 and growing, Huerter is a valuable commodity at the guard position and should continue to gain more interest throughout the summer.
