Last week we got notice of the Class D, C and B boys' basketball all-state teams and today we get the release of the Class AA and A teams.

Huerter headlines the Class AA group after winning Player of the Year. The Maryland-bound senior led the Plainsmen to a Class AA Regional championship one year after helping his team capture the state title.

He averaged more than 21 points a game and is armed with a good jumpshot, vision, athletic ability and passing ability. He's an ideal fit for a high-profile program like Maryland.

Also from Section II on the Class AA team is Guilderland big man Andrew Sischo (6th team), Green Tech's Dasier Lukes (10th), CBA's Mike Wynn (12th) and Colonie's Isaiah Moll.

In Class A, the Player of the Year is also in Section II: Hameir Wright of Albany Academy. The big man is receiving major Division I interest and is a legitimate Division I prospect.

Also on the team from Section II: Kory Bergh (Amsterdam - 11th team) and Jack McLaren (Troy-12th).
