The Shen baseball team captured its first state championship on Saturday after producing a come-from-behind walkoff win.

The Plainsmen were aided by several great individual performances including the semifinal dominance of Ian Anderson, who was also drafted by the Atlanta Braves with the No. 3 pick in the MLB Draft.

But not to be outdone, his twin brother, Ben Anderson, had one of the big hits in the 7th inning of the championship game. Ben was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 26th round.

We asked the brothers what they were going to do: Sign professionally or attend college. Ian said he will forego Vanderbilt and will sign professionally while Ben says he is undecided about signing or attending Binghamton.

We also spoke about the championship win and we brought in head coach Greg Christodulu to talk about the win for the program and how the program was built up into a state champion.
