The World Series is a special match up this year the Cleveland Indians who haven't won in 68 years take on the Chicago Cubs that are in their own 108 year drought. That kind of time without hoisting the World Series trophy does something to a city. Look at Boston! The Red Sox go 86 years between titles and after breaking "the curse of the Bambino" the Sox have gone on to win two more. The Boston area no longer feels slighted or left out. They now have pride when they talk of the clubs recent success and the wounds of the 86 years of waiting seem to be gone as well.
