The men's basketball team at Iona college in New Rochelle, NY was over joyed on Sunday when they got word that they were getting an at large bid to the NCAA tournament. Iona had to hold their breath on Sunday as teams were being selected for the 'big dance'.  One of the last four teams into the tournament, ESPN reports that the team was so nervous they didn't even watch.  Head coach Tim Cluess said that once they found out, they all went back to the school to celebrate together.

The Gaels will play on Tuesday night as one of the play-in games against BYU at 8:30p.  That winner will be the number 14 seed, and face Marquette Thursday.  This is Iona's first NCAA tournament bid since 2006.
