The New York Knicks 2016-2017 regular season wraps up tonight as they host the Philadelphia 76ers. For the fourth consecutive season, The Knicks will  not be good enough to qualify for a postseason berth. All of four of those seasons saw Carmelo Anthony as the team's leading scorer and all around best player. Over the past six plus years, the attitude of Knicks fans' has changed in regards to Anthony,.  The national champion in college at Syracuse and former Denver Nugget was embraced by Knicks fans on his arrival in 2011. The video below shows the excitement of the arrival of a then twenty six old Anthony expressing his desire to play in the Big Apple.

Since that arrival, the Knicks have qualified for the playoffs just twice (one in a lockout shortened season) while finishing with over forty one wins just two times as well.
