Is UAlbany Football Ranked After Their Win Over Elon?

The UAlbany Great Danes football tea defeated the Elon Phoenix this past Saturday 27-3.

Elijiah Ibitokun-Hanks led the way for UAlbany's offense with a career high 35 carries and 210 yards. The Great Danes have snapped thier preview losing streak with the win over the Phoenix. Although the Great Danes have lost just three games this season with two losses against nationally ranked oppentents, it has not been enough for UAlbany to return back into the national rankings. The Great Danes received enough voters to have them ranked 28th but the weekly rankings only note the top-25 teams in the country.

The Great Danes are now 5-3 overall and 2-3 in conference play. UAlbany continues thier home stand this weekend when they take on the Delaware Blue Hens.
