The NCAA men's lacrosse tournament gets underway this weekend and the UAlbany Great Danes may be on upset alert. The Great Danes secured the number two overall season after a 14-2 record and a America East tournament championship. However the Great Danes will take the field today without the services of All-American Connor Fields. Fields is continuing to try and recover from a lower body injury suffered earlier in the season. The status of Fields for the remainder of the postseason still remains unclear. The visiting Richmond Spiders enter the NCAA tournament with an 11-5 overall record and a SOCON tournament championship victory. The Spiders' appearance is their second in the program's just five years old history.  Face off between the Great Danes and Spiders is set for 5pm this Saturday at Casey Stadium. Do you believe UAlbany could be vulnerable for an upset without Connor Fields? Let us know below.
