Not since Swayze in Roadhouse have we seen a kick quite like that.

Up five with under a minute left to play and about to take possession, Illinois State looked assured of a victory. That was, however, until senior forward, and member of the Cobra Kai Dojo, came cross court to deliver a vicious, Liu Kang-esque flying kick. Check out all of it's vicious glory below.

Carmichael was assessed a flagrant for his brief Walker Texas Ranger role play; the foul eventually proved the catalyst to a Wichita State comeback win.  But should he have been given the foul at all?

Honestly, I'm not sure. Part of me struggles to believe that a guy playing for Illinois State could possess the body control to claim the rebound, find a target in mid-air and deliver the harsh justice with such force.

But then again...

When you look at those eyes, those cold-blooded eyes, you can read a different story - one of a player who hugged that ball to his chest, located the opposition, and dropped the hammer.

But then again...

I don't know, man.  Every time I watch it I change my mind.  I just don't know.

What about you? What do you think?
