Jay Cutler stood on the sidelines with a sore left knee and watched his team lose to the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game.Jay Cutler didn't exactly etch his name into Chicago Bears' lore in the NFC Title Game against the Packers.  He walked around on the sidelines in the second half.  He failed to walk onto the field when the Bears needed him in the worst way though.

The Chicago Bears are synonymous with toughness.  Dick Butkus, Mike Ditka, Brian Urlacher, hard-nosed, tough, Bear football.  Uh, Jay Cutler was anything but what the Bears stand for.

When you're seen walking around on the sidelines and don't enter the game, people are simply going to question your toughness.  Brian Urlacher was one who didn't question Cutler's toughness.  He stood up for the QB in a postgame press conference.

That's fine, but when we've seen Philip Rivers play in the AFC Championship Game against the Patriots with a torn ACL, it's hard not to question Cutler's grit.

Caleb Hanie filled in for Jay Cutler in the 4th quarter.  He threw two huge interceptions.  BJ Raji brought back one of the interceptions for a touchdown.  Sam Shields ended the game by picking off Hanie.  Cutler is supposed to be the man.  He's supposed to be a leader.  He showed no toughness and deserves to be criticized.
