Jeremy Lin Lights Up Lakers With 38 Points, Knicks Win

Jeremy Lin has gone up against a couple really good point guards so far this NBA season, and now he has proven himself against one of the NBA's elite teams.  He puts up 38 points as the Knicks beat the Lakers 92-85.

Friday night was the big test for new found star Jeremy Lin.  Could he contend with Kobe and the Lakers?  The answer is without a doubt yes. Lin was amazing for New York last night, and looked like he couldn't be stopped.  He puts up 38 points and he silences any critics left against him.

Kobe Bryant tried to get the Lakers back into it with a 34 point performance, but it wasn't enough.  A poor effort by the Lakers in the first period came back to bite them in the end.  Knicks improve to .500 at home (7-7) and the Lakers drop to 4-10 away.
