The New York Jets beat the Indianapolis Colts 17-16 on Saturday night.  Mark Sanchez wasn't great, but he came up big when he had to.Mark Sanchez threw for 189 yards and one interception against the Colts in the opening round of the playoffs.  That's nothing to write home about.  Sanchez wasn't accurate.  He overthrew a handful of his passes, but he was clutch when he had to be.

Down 16-14 with under a minute to go, Sanchez completed two passes to set up the Jets on the Colts' 34-yard line.  After Jim Caldwell and the Colts called a baffling timeout, Sanchez completed an 18-yard pass to Braylon Edwards to set up a 32-yard game-winning field goal by Nick Folk.

The Jets' running game was effective all game long.  The Jets won the time of possession battle decisively, which limited the amount of damage Peyton Manning was able to do.  The Jets' defense also did a great job holding the Colts to only 16 points.

Now, it's on to New England for the Jets.  Gang Green will try to avenge a 45-3 beatdown they suffered against the Patriots earlier this season.  It won't be easy, but it's definitely possible.
