The New York Jets a year ago had to move safety Antonio Allen from safety to cornerback, because they were so thing. This season New York hit the jackpot in adding veteran cornerbacks Buster Skrine, Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie.

Skrine coming from the dysfunctional Cleveland Browns, has been is shock and awe of the Jets talent so far. “I’ve never played on a defense with this much talent,” Skrine told me after a recent Jets OTA session. “Our front seven has all-stars and then in the back end, we have all-stars. I’ve never seen anything like this. Everybody said the Philadelphia Eagles were going to be like the Dream Team, but we have chemistry on this defense already, and you can see it out in practice. I mean, we can match up however you want to match up. We can match up with any offense.”

Oh no. Did he say dream team? No. This team is far from a dream team, especially when you account for the offense. There is a certain x-factor on this Todd Bowles Defense though. When you have a 3-4 front that consist of Muhammad Wilkerson, Sheldon Richardson and Damon Harrison you're in a good position. The addition of USC's DL Leonard Williams in the draft makes you arguably the best defensive line in the league.

So was Skrine out of line with his comments? No. This is the most talent that he's ever been a part of in his career, and teams should be scared.
