New York Jets center Nick Mangold has missed the last two games with a high right ankle sprain.  However, the three-time Pro Bowler is expected to be healthy enough to suit up on Sunday against the New England Patriots.

"I'm ready to go," Mangold said.  Seems simple enough.  The two-time All-Pro center is questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots.  The Jets sorely need his services.  They've lost back to back games since Mangold suffered his ankle injury in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.  Since then, the Jets lost to the Oakland Raiders 34-24 in Week 3.  Gang Green was embarrassed on Sunday Night Football last week by the Baltimore Ravens 34-17.

Head coach Rex Ryan is optimistic about Mangold's chances of starting against New England this Sunday.  Although Rex Ryan is fond of making guarantees, he has stopped short of guaranteeing Nick Mangold's services this weekend.  This might be a guarantee that would actually work out for Rex Ryan if he were to make it.  It feels like a certainty that Nick Mangold will suit up against the Pats.
