Playing at home on Sunday, the New York Jets turned the ball over, couldn't establish a run game, and ultimately fell to 2-1 on the year with a 24-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The embattled Eagles move to 1-2 with the win.

Ryan Fitzpatrick went 35-58 for 283 yards. He did connect for two touchdowns but also through three interceptions.

The Jets also managed just 47 yards rushing on the afternoon and weren't able to have any balance offensively.

Brandon Marshall had another 100-yard receiving game but he also had a very costly fumble that really hurt Gang Green's chances.

The Jets defense, which had been so good in the first two weeks, allowed a 100-yard rusher. Ryan Mathews ran for 108 yards. The Jets were able to force one turnover of their own, but it's hard to win games when you are -3 in the turnover battle.

The Jets will take on the Dolphins next week in London.
