Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy will not play in the Pro Bowl due to a knee injury and will be replaced by New York Jets workhorse Chris Ivory.

McCoy only played 12 games this season but did manage to rush for 74.6 yards a game and three touchdowns. He also averaged 24 yards a game receiving as he provided Rex Ryan's offense with a dual-threat.

Ivory had a great year for the Jets, amassing 1070 yards and seven touchdowns. He was a major stabilizing force in the Jets offense and was a big reason behind the Jets turnaround from a 2014 campaign that saw them win just four games.

The Pro Bowl is Jan. 31 at 7 p.m.

The Jets figure to be a serious contender to make the AFC playoffs in 2016 and Ivory will be a major reason why.

McCoy also figures to be a major part of the Bills plans to try to get back to the playoffs for the first time since the 1999 season.
