Jets Not Returning To Cortland For Training Camp

Because of all the labor talks in the NFL the New York Jets are not returning to their training camp in Cortland, NY.

We were tipped off to this news thanks to one of our company sister stations in Utica. Because of the lockout and all the issues associated with it, the Jets won't be back in Cortland this summer.  Instead they will be doing their training camp in New Jersey at the Atlantic Health Jets training facility.  If things go well, they will be back for 2012.

It also begs the question, will the Giants be back in Albany for training camp this year?  No word from the G-Men as to whether or not they will be or not, but our best guess would be that unless they resolve things soon we won't be seeing them this year.  Make sure to keep checking back for more information on Giants training camp right here at 1045the team.com and listen up for details.
