Jets QB Mark Sanchez Wanted To Fight Rex Ryan

In the September issue of GQ Magazine, Mark Sanchez admits that he "wanted to fight" head coach Rex Ryan after he considered benching the starter in favor or Mark Brunell last season.  Offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer had to talk Mark Sanchez out of confronting Rex Ryan.

Sanchez nearly confronted Ryan after losses to the Patriots and the Dolphins late last season.  Sanchez said, "I really wanted to fight him.  I was really mad."  Sanchez also pushed backup quarterback Mark Brunell out of a practice huddle at one point.
