The New York Jets have continued to be busy this offseason, and have added strength in numbers to their weakest positions. This time, Gang Green has signed six-year veteran offensive tackle Corey Hilliard from the Detroit Lions.

Hilliard's 2014 season ended short, and painfully when he sustained a Lisfranc foot injury and torn ligaments in the Lions' Monday night season opener against the Giants. Hillard battled through the game, and finished the 2nd half.  "It was pretty inspiring for him to play," QB Matt Stafford said. Hilliard spent the last 15 games of last season on injured reserve but didn't need surgery.
