Earlier today on Big Board Sports on 1045 The Team Hall of Fame coach Jim Boeheim joined the show. Last year, the Syracuse Orange did not qualify for the NCAA tournament. Host Rodger Wyland asked Coach Boeheim about his thoughts on this year's Syracuse team.

I like our team I think we got some underrated freshmen, we got, three or four freshmen coming that are really good, they not highly rated because they did not go to the high profile camps last summer but I think that they’re really good players I think we got our 7’2 guy back healthy I think that will help us I think our back court will be better, well be bigger in the back court.  I think Tyus Battle is going to have a tremendous year; he’s going to be one of the best players in the country this. So I like our team, I think we’ll be pretty good, better than people may think.

Last year Battle averaged 11 points and 2 rebounds during his freshman campaign for the Orange. The entire interview is below. How do you think Syracuse will fare in 2017-2018? Can Battle be one of the best players in the country? Let us know below.
