Jimmer Fredette played less than two minutes last night as the New York Knicks got blown out by the Toronto Raptors, 122-95, at Madison Square Garden on Monday night.

But the Glens Falls native reminded everyone why he is a fan favorite - he hit a three-pointer in his only shot attempt.

Fredette also had a turnover, but the three-pointer is what fans will remember. Fredette was signed to a 10-day contract on Monday and will have five games to show if he can stick in the NBA.

He has previous NBA experience with the Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls and New Orleans Pelicans.

Fredette has played almost the entire season in the D-League with the Westchester Knicks after a brief stint with the Pelicans earlier this year. He was averaging 21.8 ppg in Westchester while shooting 46 percent from the floor and 41 percent from three-point range.

Fredette earned MVP of the D-League All-Star Game after scoring 35 points.
