Saturday may have been the best game in the D-League for Jimmer Fredette.

The Glens Falls native just missed a triple-double, scoring 25 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and dishing out nine assists.

Fredette shot 8-14 from the floor and was 3-5 from behind-the-arc. He also put down a rare dunk! You can see that below in the highlights.

Fredette is scoring 23.7 ppg in his 14 games in the D-League. There's talk that he could be pulled up to the New York Knicks soon, Ian Begley reports. The big club is looking for help in the backcourt and that's something that Jimmer could provide.

On Sunday, Westchester fell but Jimmer had 27 points on 8-12 shooting. With that kind of effectiveness, it would stand to reason that Jimmer is going to get another NBA shot.

Hopefully that shot comes in the near future when the NBA is able to issue 10-day contracts. Those contracts can be issued tomorrow.
