Jimmer Fredette has continued to score since returning to the Westchester Knicks of the NBA Developmental League.

Fredette, the Glens Falls native and former National Player of the Year at BYU, had 25 points on Saturday in a Knicks loss to the Oklahoma City Blue.

While Fredette is scoring a great clip (27.5 ppg in four games), he still needs to shoot better if he wants to get back to the NBA. He was 9-24 on Saturday while going 4-8 from three-point range.

It's great that Fredette can score, but he needs to be more than just a "volume shooter" if he is going to get back to the League.

Nonetheless, Section II fans are happy to see Fredette get a chance to play and play consistently.

The Jimmer that could score anywhere on the floor is something that we all missed during his first four NBA seasons. This is good to see for the Albany native and his fans.
