Sure, Jimmer Fredette isn't in the NBA right now. But he's still playing basketball, and he's getting a chance to do the things we all remember him doing.

Jimmer made his debut for the Westchester Knicks of the D-League on Monday night, and it was a memorable one as Fredette led the Knicks to a win.

THIS is the Jimmer we remember and have wanted to see in the NBA. The Jimmer that shot his way into the Section II record books. The Jimmer that led Glens Falls to the state finals in his senior year.

It's the Jimmer that led BYU to multiple NCAA tournaments and the Jimmer that earned the National Player of the Year in his senior year.

It's the Jimmer we've only gotten flashes of over the last few years, as he's been hampered by lack of playing time and poor management (cough, Sacramento Kings, cough).

But the old Jimmer was back on Monday, if even for a night.
