The University at Albany sophomore, Joe Cremo, has been named to the preseason America East all conference men's basketball team.

Cremo is the youngest name on the list, and the only sophomore represented. The preseason team is voted on by the leagues head coaches.

The Scotia native is coming off a monster season where he averaged 10.5ppg, shot over 50% from the field, and scored in double digits on 19 occasions. For his first year efforts, he was named not only Rookie of the Year, but also earned 6th Man of the Year honors. He's the first player in conference history to be named both in the same season.

Cremo joined Vermont's Trae Bell-Haynes, New Hampshire's Tanner Leissner, UMBC's Jarius Lyles, Binghampton's Will Rodriguez, and UMass Lowell's Jahad Thomas on the preseason all conference team.

Cremo's sophomore campaign will begin Friday, November 11th at Penn State.
