The Albany Empire are two games into their inaugural season and even though they're 0-2 you can definitely see there's a lot of talent on the roster. Last week their new and possibly most effective weapon on offense debuted for the Empire, Joe Hills AKA Superman.

Hills is the reigning AFL offensive player of the week:

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Hills (6’4, 225, Tennessee State) hauled in 11 receptions for 108 yards and four touchdowns in his first game in an Empire uniform. The 2016 Offensive Player of the Year recorded 129 receptions for 1,353 yards and 36 touchdowns last season. Hills currently has an AFL record streak of consecutive games with a receiving touchdown to 82 games.

This will be Hills first game at the Times Union Center so I'm expecting him to bring his A game. Which could be super exciting for all of us.

For anyone that is afraid they'll miss the Kentucky Derby, the Times Union Center has your back. The "Run for the Roses" will be on the Jumbo Screens out front for everyone to enjoy during the Block Party.
